A long established precision engineering company based in Wareham, Dorset are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join their fabrication workshops.
This role will involve Sheet Metal and Brake Press operating for the Aerospace and Manufacturing sectors.
About the Company:
The company specialises in precision fabrication and sheet metal work.
Required Experience:
- Sheet Metal Manufacturing (or similar Engineering)
- Sheet Metal Engineering
- Have a high level of detail
- Have the ability to inspect and understand 2D drawings
- Experienced sheet metal worker
- Technically minded and used to working with thicker materials
- Brake Press experience
- Confident with small batch work and folding pieces
Hours:
7:30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 2pm Friday.
Salary:
Salary is up to £15.00 per hour, dependent on experience
Details:
- The role will be on a 12 week probationary basis and to start ASAP
- The role will become fully permanent after that period
- Overtime is available and ideally the candidate should be open to working additional hours on occasion
- Car parking onsite
