We are recruiting for an Electronics Design Engineer for a well established Electronics Manufacturer in Poole, Dorset.
The company is family owned and has a proud history of 50 years in the acoustic ancillary, connector, cable and microphone fields.
They have contracts with various major manufacturers in France, Germany and Spain for microphone development specifically for Masks and Military Headsets representing the cream of the Acoustics Industry.
Required Skills:
- Digital and analogue electronic circuit design
- PCB layout/design
- Product Design Documentation (Drawings, Specifications, EMC Compliance, Test Plans,...)
Desirable Skills:
- Mechanical design (SolidWorks)
- Embedded C programming (ARM, Microchip, Atmel)
- IT maintenance
- Experience in designing for industrial and military environments
- Knowledge of product design standards, including EMC and safety, and CE compliance
- Acoustic measurements
- The successful candidate will have a degree in electronics or a similar discipline.
Salary: £34,000 to £42,000 per annum
